One of the most effective ways of stopping children from accessing unsuitable content, is for webmasters to participate in one of the voluntary "labeling" systems. Parents can install software on their children's computer that blocks content from being displayed if it is labeled with a category that the parent does not wish the child to see.
While it is unlikely that this is strictly necessary for tgps, as any blocking software will immediately see from the content that it is not appropriate for children, we believe that having labels is part of being a responsible internet citizen.
There are a number of ways to label a page. We found some that used older style "ratings" meta-tags, but many had moved to the newer PICS W3C standard.
We gave an A+ if a PICS label was used, an A if an older style meta tag was used, and an F if there was no label.
We found the following TGPs to have some kind of content labeling; ah-me , bunnyteens.com , hardcore junky , madthumbs , persiankitty.com , shemp.com , sleazydream.com
