How much does Nici cost? Nici costs $49.95 for electronic delivery, or $59.95 for electronic delivery and a CD (includes worldwide shipping and handling). Nici can be purchased via the purchase page. All orders are handled by our e-commerce provider: SWREG

Is there a Mac version? No. We have no plans to develop a version for the Mac.

Does Nici work with pay sites? No. Nici will only download from publicly accessible web pages.

Is Nici Adware?, does Nici have any Spyware?
No. Nici is sold as Trialware. A free trial can be downloaded which is limited to 15 days of use. Nici is not locked to a users computer and does not "phone home". Nici is not bundled with any other software; when Nici is installed, no other applications are installed and it can be fully uninstalled.Click here to read our thoughts on spyware.

Can Nici download from any web page? No. Nici can not download from pages that use javascript. A good rule of thumb is: if a Search Engine can crawl a web page, Nici can download it.

What are the differences between the trial version and licensed version? The trial is limited to 15 days, adds a watermark to pictures after 1000 downloads, and includes nag screens.

Why did Nici only download X pictures from the search engines? Nici treats these pages like any other web page. See the Searching for pictures faq entry for instructions on downloading more pictures.

What are the benefits of using Nici? Automated downloading -- advanced picture viewing -- protecting minors from seeing inappropriate pictures -- safe surfing -- ability to organize and rank pictures.

What type of software is Nici? There is no established name for this kind of software. We have seen it referred to by many names including: picture downloader, picture finder, picture ripper, tgp downloader, picture grabber, gallery saver, photo crawler, image saver
