Picture Surf Anonymously and in Privacy

Nici protects privacy. No information about you is ever sent to anyone, not us, not anybody, period. Nici includes features such as; Obscure mode, password protection, Wipe then Exit, and Quick Exit so you can surf for pictures anonymously and in privacy.

Nici contains no adware, spyware or any other "mal-ware". (We recommend Ad-aware to protect privacy from these "mal-ware" programs.)

Nici accesses the Internet in the same way as a Web-Browser, however it crumbles cookies and will not run potentially dangerous scripts or code. This allows you to see pictures from web sites safely and anonymously. See How Nici accesses the Internet for more information.

You can choose to enable Obscure mode which protects privacy from other users of your computer. It is designed to stop other users of your computer from accidently seeing inappropriate pictures or descriptions. Numbers are used in place of descriptions, and pictures altered slightly, so that programs like "My Computer" will not automatically display them.

You can also use Nici's Wipe then Exit command. When you do a Wipe then Exit, everything that Nici knows about what pictures have been downloaded and what web-sites they were found at, is deleted from your hard drive. The only settings that Nici retains are inert settings like; What theme you are using, whether to show tooltips, license key information and Window layouts. This means that there is no need to use an Internet Washer program with Nici, however if you have been using a normal Web-Browser, you may be surprised at what and where it saves files that track what you have been doing. Nici is also System Friendly. Nici installs no shared DLLs, ActiveX controls or other system files and nothing is installed outside of the Nici directory. Nici is self-contained; you can install it without fear of it interfering with your system or with other applications.
