This page is a tutorial page for the Nici Picture Downloader. There are millions of free pages of pictures on the internet. This is an example gallery of 8 hot pictures ("hot" as in ouch!).

The Hard Way

If you found this page while you were surfing, you could download it by clicking on Nici's "File" menu, then clicking on "New Page...", then enter the url address of this page. This is illustrated below:

The Easy Way

If you had to know and enter the address of every page you wanted to download, it would take you hours ... and that is not the Nici way.

What you want to do is quickly instruct Nici to download 50-100 pages of pictures (usually 700-1500 pictures), and then do something else while Nici automatically downloads them in the background.

Hot Pictures

Pages of pictures do not exist in isolation. In fact, they are created to be "listed" on other pages which drive surfers to the picture pages.

These other pages are commonly known as directory pages, or link lists, or TGPs. They contain links to many pages of hot pictures (not as in "ouch" but as in "wow"!).

We have setup an example TGP page at http://www.nicipics.com/pictures/index.html which links to this page. Enter this address into Nici and click on the link to this page. While you are there, click on any other pages that interest you. Nici will then automatically work its way through the pages downloading all the pictures.

Nici comes with a a built in list of 100 of the most popular TGP pages. You will find many hot pictures from them ... far hotter than these pictures!
